Nothing here was generated

Not one word of the astrology on this site was written by a language model, and not one number was guessed. Here is exactly what that means, and how you can check it for yourself rather than taking our word for it.

Three claims, and how to test each one

  • The numbers are computed, not described

Positions, houses, aspects, orbs, transits, returns and progressions are calculated on our own server from the Swiss Ephemeris, the same data professional astrologers pay for. Nothing about your chart is estimated, rounded to something tidy, or inferred from your star sign.

Check it: Take any planet position from your chart and compare it with an ephemeris or with NASA. It agrees to the arcsecond.

  • The words were written before you arrived

Every line of interpretation was written by a person, against the tradition it comes from, and stored. A reading picks the pieces that match what your chart actually says and puts them in order. It never invents a sentence to fill a gap, because there is nothing here that can invent a sentence.

Check it: Cast the same chart twice. You get the same words. Ask a generated site the same question twice and you will not.

  • It will tell you when it has nothing

This is the part a model cannot do. If your birth time is missing, the site says the houses cannot be computed rather than showing you twelve of them anyway. Where two traditions disagree, the page says so instead of quietly picking one. A system that always has an answer is a system whose answers never depended on knowing anything.

Check it: Leave the birth time blank and watch what disappears.

Why this is worth saying out loud

Most astrology published in the last two years was generated. It is cheap, it is fast, and it reads perfectly well, which is precisely why it is worthless: a model will produce an equally confident paragraph about a placement you do not have. The text is fluent because fluency is what it optimises for, and it is untethered from your chart because nothing in the process ever required it to be tethered.

Astrology is a symbolic tradition with real content underneath it: documented attributions, schools that disagree with each other for reasons, and arithmetic that is either right or wrong. You can think the whole thing is nonsense and still recognise the difference between a site doing that work and a site producing text shaped like it. We would rather be the first kind, and we would rather you were able to tell.

What we are not claiming

That astrology is a science, that a chart predicts your future, or that a correct calculation makes an interpretation true. It does not. The claim on this page is narrower and it is the only one we can actually stand behind: the sky is computed honestly, the writing is written by somebody, and neither is being made up as you go. What you do with the reading is yours.

See for yourself

The fastest way to test any of this is to cast a chart and then check a number in it against the raw tables.

More on the method in how it works, and on why the site exists at all in about.

Questions about how this is built

The five that come up most.

  • No language model is called at any point, for anything. There is no AI package in this site’s dependencies and no request leaves our server to an AI service, because there is nothing to request. Chart positions are computed here from the Swiss Ephemeris. The words around them were written in advance and are selected by what your chart actually says.

  • Cast the same chart twice and compare the two. They will be identical, down to the wording, because nothing was written on the spot. Then take any planet position from your chart and check it against an ephemeris, an almanac or NASA. It will agree to the arcsecond, because it is the same calculation everybody else is doing rather than a plausible sentence about the sky.

  • It would be much cheaper, and that is the problem. A model will write you a confident paragraph about Mars in the eighth house whether or not Mars is in your eighth house, and it will write a different one tomorrow from the same data. Astrology is a symbolic tradition with actual content: real attributions, real disagreements between schools, real arithmetic underneath. A system that produces fluent text about it regardless of the input is not doing astrology, it is doing autocomplete.

  • Every number is computed: positions, houses, aspects, orbs, transits, returns, progressions, eclipse and retrograde dates. Every word of interpretation was written by a person beforehand. A reading assembles the written pieces that match the computed facts. That is why two people with genuinely different charts get genuinely different readings, and why the same person gets the same reading twice.

  • Artwork is a separate question from text and we treat it as one. Where an image was generated, the site does not pretend otherwise. The claim on this page is about the astrology: the charts, the numbers and the words.
