Memento Astra is an astrology studio for both beginnings and endings. We compute birth and death charts, and daily readings, from the real positions of the planets, turning a moment in time into something you can read, reflect on, and keep.
What we do
Enter a date, time, and place, and we resolve the exact location and timezone, calculate the sky at that instant, and produce a structured reading: placements, houses, and angles interpreted into plain language. Our daily horoscopes are generated the same way: from today's actual transits, not filler.

Birth charts illuminate a life; death charts offer a reflective, symbolic reading of its conclusion. Few places explore both.

Nothing here was generated
No language model wrote a word of this site, and none is called at any point. Every position in a chart is computed here from the Swiss Ephemeris, so it agrees with any almanac to the arcsecond. Every line of interpretation was written by a person in advance, and a reading selects the pieces that match what your chart actually says.
Most astrology published in the last two years was generated, and it reads beautifully, which is exactly the problem: a model writes an equally convincing paragraph about a placement you do not have. You can test the difference here in about a minute.
How to check that for yourselfA note on interpretation
In astrology the rules happen to be about stars and planets, but they could be about ducks and drakes for all the difference it would make. It’s just a way of thinking about a problem which lets the shape of that problem begin to emerge. The more rules, the tinier the rules, the more arbitrary they are, the better.
It’s like throwing a handful of fine graphite dust on a piece of paper to see where the hidden indentations are. It lets you see the words that were written on the piece of paper above it that’s now been taken away and hidden. The graphite’s not important. It’s just the means of revealing the indentations.
So you see, astrology’s nothing to do with astronomy. It’s just to do with people thinking about people.
That is the spirit this site is built in. The positions are computed properly, from real ephemeris data, because a tool that is sloppy about the sky has nothing to offer. What those positions mean is another matter: our readings are symbolic and reflective, offered for insight and contemplation, never as medical, legal, financial, or forensic advice.
