There are only seven answers
Sign compatibility is not folklore attached to pairs one at a time. It falls out of the distance between the two signs, and that distance is fixed: counting the short way round, two signs are between zero and six apart, so every one of the 78 pairs makes one of these seven relationships. Signs four apart are always the same element. Signs three apart always share a modality. No pair escapes the pattern.

How much this can honestly tell you
Two Sun signs are two facts about two people who have around forty placements each. It is a real technique with a long record behind it, and it is the thinnest version of the question anybody asks. Nothing here calls a pair doomed or guaranteed, because the angle between two signs does not support either claim.

Because a percentage built from two star signs has nothing behind it. What the tradition actually reads is the angle between the two signs, which is fixed and checkable: two signs are always a whole number of signs apart, and that distance decides the aspect, whether they share an element, and whether they share a modality. The synastry tool does produce a score, and it prints the counts it was built from.
No. Sun sign compatibility is symmetric: Aries with Leo is the same arrangement as Leo with Aries, so each pair has one page rather than two. Full synastry between two birth charts is not symmetric, because there the direction of a contact carries real information.
